Dexter Woods is first generation ceramist from Wylie, Texas. He received his Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas in Visual Performing Arts. Dexter moved to Phoenix, Arizona shortly after graduating in 2015 and began working at the Reitz Ranch center for the ceramic arts as the studio manager. Dexter also became a resident artist at the Mesa Art Center in 2018-2021. He and his family now live in Lubbock, Tx where he will continue his artistic practices.
